Our figurine design creation process begins with an idea for conceptual development, where we sketch a rough hybrid illustration, and write a descriptive outline of the design idea, to define the character’s core attributes, theme, and visual style.

Once the 2D concept is complete, we sculpt it into a 3D model by creating a STL file. We then digitally paint and prepare it for 3D printing.

After printing, we assemble the individual parts we’ve produced using adhesive, sometimes adding molding putty for structural integrity, and hand-painting any areas that require fine detailing or touch-ups.

The final 3D design and ‘prototype’ figures are a unique fusion of illustration, digital collage, and sculptural craftsmanship.

Big thanks to anyone reading this that’s taken an interest in my designs!
