Colorful toy figure with a circular, eye-like face and flame-shaped details resembling a sun, standing outdoors on a white surface.

Our figurine design creation process begins with an idea for conceptual development, where we sketch a rough foundational chart, and write a descriptive outline of the design idea, to define the character’s core attributes, theme, and visual style.

From there, we create a hybrid illustration of the 2D concept (Adobe) and then sculpt it into a 3D model by creating a STL file (Blender). We then digitally paint and prepare it for 3D printing (Bambu Studio).

After printing, we assemble the individual parts we’ve produced using adhesive, sometimes adding molding putty for structural integrity, and hand-painting any areas that require fine detailing or touch-ups.

The final 3D design and original ‘prototype’ figures are a fusion of illustration, digital collage, and sculptural craftsmanship. Every design has its own unique character lore and is influenced by multiple facets of pop culture/my life.

Big thanks to anyone reading this that’s reached out to me!
